Brand, frame size, groupset and clearance: “Giant Revolt, 54cm, GRX 1×11, Clears 45mm Tyres”. Tyre clearance in millimetres is a real search term in this category and almost never stated. Say whether it is 1x or 2x, since riders have firm preferences.

Preparing and photographing it

1. Note the maximum tyre clearance the frame takes, and what is currently fitted.
2. Count and photograph the mounting points: mudguards, racks, bottle cages, top tube bags, fork mounts.
3. Check the frame for cracks, particularly if carbon, and run through the full gear range and both brakes.
