1. Defrost it completely, dry it out and leave the door ajar so it does not develop a smell before collection.
2. Check every drawer and flap for cracks, and note the model and capacity from the rating plate inside.
3. Run it for a day and confirm it holds temperature, so you can say honestly that it works.
