1. Dior stamps a date code into a small leather tab inside the bag, usually in the form of two letters and four digits — photograph the tab, not just the logo

3. Sneakers carry a size and production label inside the tongue or heel, and the condition of the midsole is what buyers actually judge the pair on

Preparing and photographing it

1. Read the label for the fill: down, feather or synthetic wadding, and the outer fabric.
2. Check the hood, its fur trim and whether both detach, plus every zip, popper and drawcord.
3. Test whether water still beads on the outer, and say honestly if the coating has washed off.

Are Dior sneakers worth reselling once they are worn?

Only if the midsole is still clean. Yellowing and creasing are what buyers zoom in on, and a worn pair typically sells for a fraction of a boxed one. Photograph the soles honestly rather than shooting from above.
