Condition on WishThrift is described by the seller against five grades, and nobody inspects them on your behalf — so the description and the photographs are what you are buying on.

The checklist before you pay
Paperwork above everything. A vehicle without a matching registration document, or with outstanding finance, is a problem you inherit.
Run through these before money changes hands — they are the things that decide whether alloy wheels is worth what is being asked:

Questions to ask the seller
These are the three that get asked most often about alloy wheels, and the answers tell you most of what you need:
Give the four numbers and let the buyer check. Do not confirm fitment for a car you have not tried them on — caliper clearance and arch fouling are not something you can promise remotely.
Say plainly, and if a wheel has been welded, disclose it. A cracked or repaired alloy is a safety matter at speed, not a cosmetic discount.
Give the tread depth in millimetres and the date code. Anything near the legal minimum should be described as needing replacement rather than as usable.
Also worth establishing before you commit:
- Note the diameter, width, offset and stud pattern

- The tyres if included, showing tread and the date code on the sidewall

Steady year round, with a winter lift on smaller-diameter wheels people buy for winter tyres. Popular fitments sell within days; unusual offsets take much longer.
Prices move against that cycle for a buyer: the cheapest time to buy is when sellers are listing most, not when demand peaks.
