What a used fleece is worth by condition
Condition does more to the price than anything else. These figures are worked from the top of the range for fleeces, so treat them as a starting point and adjust for the specifics of yours.

What raises the value of a fleece

How to work out what yours is worth
- Run the zip fully and check it does not separate
- Check the pile at the elbows and cuffs for matting
- Note the brand and any model name from the label

Can matted fleece be restored?
Not really. Once the pile has matted it stays matted, so photograph it honestly rather than hoping it will not show.
