When is the best time to sell garden items?

March to July, and the difference is large rather than marginal. A barbecue, garden set or greenhouse listed in spring routinely sells within days at a price it simply will not reach in autumn. If it is already October, storing it until March usually beats discounting it now.

Why do bulky items get enquiries that go quiet?

Because the buyer cannot work out the logistics. State the dimensions, an honest weight, whether it dismantles and whether you can help load, and the enquiries that used to disappear turn into collections.

Is it worth restoring garden furniture before selling?
