Why the label is only half the answer
Two items with the same logo can be worth ten times different amounts, and the gap is almost never about condition. It is about which line it is, where it was made and whether the parts are original — a production date on a size tag, a country stamped on a heel, a serial under a bottom bracket, a set number on a box. Those are countable facts, and they are what a buyer is actually paying for.
So each guide below is written around the identification a real buyer asks for, rather than around the brand’s reputation. Where a range has essentially no resale market, the guide says so plainly — that is more useful than a number nobody will pay.

How condition is described
Every price here is quoted against five grades: New with Tags, Like New, Good, Fair and For Parts. They are declared by the seller — WishThrift does not authenticate, inspect or grade anything, and does not hold funds or offer buyer protection. What each grade means is worth two minutes before you list or buy.
Guide prices are shown in sterling with an approximate US dollar equivalent at £1 ≈ $1.33 (July 2026). WishThrift displays listings in the seller’s local currency.
Selling something branded
Listing is free, there is no commission and there is no fee on the buyer’s side either — the price you agree is the amount you keep. Read the selling guides for photographs, titles and handover, or create a free account and list in about two minutes.
Frequently asked questions
Does the brand actually change what a second-hand item is worth?
Enormously, and not in the direction people expect. The spread WITHIN a label is usually wider than the gap between two labels — a mass-market running shoe and a collected silhouette carry the same logo and nothing like the same price. That is why these guides are written per line rather than per brand.
How do I prove a piece is genuine?
You photograph the thing that identifies it: the production date on a size tag, the serial under a bottom bracket, the country stamped on a heel, the set number on a box. WishThrift does not authenticate, inspect or grade anything, so the seller’s photographs and description are what a buyer is judging — make them answer the question before it is asked.
Is it free to sell branded items here?
Yes, and there is no commission on either side. Listing costs nothing and the price you agree with the buyer is the amount you keep, on a £2,000 watch as much as on a £20 hoodie. There is no buyer-protection fee either, which is what makes this different from marketplaces that advertise free listings and charge the buyer instead.
