WishThrift was created because reselling branded fashion shouldn’t mean navigating scams, broken escrow, or extortionate fees. We built the platform we always wished existed.

Like most of us, we had wardrobes full of branded clothes we no longer wore. We tried every resale app — and kept running into the same problems. Buyers who wouldn’t pay. Sellers who wouldn’t ship. Platforms taking 10–20% for doing almost nothing.
So we built WishThrift. A peer-to-peer marketplace that puts escrow-protected payments at the centre, enables local pickup so you never have to post if you don’t want to, and charges sellers a fair 5% — or nothing at all for our founding community.

Sellers are held to accurate condition grading. Misdescription disputes are resolved on evidence, not reputation. Counterfeit items result in immediate bans.

We prioritise connecting buyers and sellers in the same city. Lower carbon footprint, no postage costs, and you can inspect before you confirm.
Fair Pricing
5% commission for standard sellers. 0% forever for our first 100 founding sellers. No listing fees, no subscription, no hidden charges.
Sustainability
Every item sold on WishThrift is one fewer item in landfill. Fashion is the second most polluting industry in the world — resale is the antidote.
Buyer Protection
7-day post-delivery inspection window. Escrow auto-release only after you confirm. Full dispute support. UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 compliant.

Funds are always held until you confirm delivery. This will never be optional or removed.
Fee Transparency
Standard: 5%. Founding: 0%. We will never introduce hidden fees without 30 days’ notice.
Founding Seller Rate for Life
If you’re one of our first 100 sellers, your 0% rate is locked and guaranteed in our Seller Agreement.
Always Sustainable
We will never introduce drop-shipping, fast-fashion retail, or new-goods listings. Resale only.
Data Privacy
We don’t sell your data. We don’t run ad tracking beyond Google Analytics. Your information stays private.
Dispute Support
Every dispute gets a human review within 5 business days. We’ll always look at the evidence, not just the ratings.
