Selling video games in Amritsar
Amritsar is a major pilgrimage and tourism city close to the border, with long-standing trade in textiles and food. The constant flow of visitors supports a lively commercial market, and winters are cold enough to matter.
Pilgrimage seasons bring large temporary populations and the trade rises with them. Winter clothing turns over on a clear annual cycle because the cold here is real.
The area around the main religious sites is congested and largely pedestrian, so collection is arranged away from it. The rest of the city drives easily.
On woollens and shawls, check for moth damage in the folds rather than on the surface. Storage here runs long through the warm months and that is where it starts.
Handing it over in Amritsar
Negotiation is normal and expected rather than a sign of a difficult buyer. Price with a little room in it and say whether the price is firm.

What video games are worth
What lifts the price
- Sought-after titles with small print runs
- Complete collections sold as a run
What pulls it down
- Missing manuals and inserts on collectable titles
- Sports titles and annual releases, which sell for very little
Working out what yours is worth
- Check whether the case, manual and inserts are all present
- Hold discs to the light at an angle to see scratches
Getting it ready
- Check every disc or cartridge for scratches, and confirm each is in its correct case with the correct artwork.
- Note the platform and region for each title, since region locking still affects some systems.
Photograph
- The discs or cartridges out of their cases, showing surface condition
- Any manual or insert included
Put in the description
- Exact titles and editions included
- Disc or cartridge condition, and whether cases and artwork are complete
Platform first, then whether it is a bundle: “PS4 Game Bundle — 8 Titles Including FIFA and GTA V”. Naming two or three recognisable titles in the title pulls in searches for those games specifically. For a single valuable game, list it alone with the exact edition.
Listing is free and there is no selling fee, so the whole amount the buyer pays stays with you. You and the buyer agree the handover between yourselves.
