Second-hand electronics in Jodhpur typically sells for ₹850 to ₹63,500 (about $9 to $665). How long the maker will keep issuing security updates now sets the floor, and a device past that date falls away quickly whatever its condition. Screen condition governs the rest, since a cracked panel is the most expensive common repair.

Buying electronics in Jodhpur
Genuinely distinctive wooden and decorative pieces appear here far more often than elsewhere.
Screens and drives are exactly what a courier damages, and proving where the harm happened afterwards is close to impossible. Taking delivery yourself removes both the risk and the argument that follows it.
What to check in person
Run it for a good ten minutes rather than a moment, because overheating and sudden restarts only appear once it is warm. Try every port with a cable actually in it, and look along the seams for a case that has been opened before.
Collecting it in Jodhpur
It fits in a bag, so most people meet on the way to something else. A station or a high street works, and neither side needs a car.
The old city inside the walls is narrow and difficult for vehicles, so anything large is collected from outside. The newer areas are open and easy to drive.

The export furniture trade means well-made wooden pieces circulate locally in a way they do not in most cities. Desert heat and dust are the two things to ask about for anything stored.
Do a factory reset before the buyer arrives and remove any account lock, because a device still signed in is the commonest reason a local sale collapses on the doorstep. Bring the original cable if you still have it. Steady all year, with a clear lift each time a new model is announced and people upgrade.
UPI has largely replaced cash for in-person handovers and is instant and traceable, which suits a private sale well. Cash on delivery is still widely expected for anything posted, and it is worth deciding your position on it before you list.
