1. About WishThrift

WishThrift is a free listings platform connecting buyers and sellers of second-hand items. We are not a party to any transaction and never handle payments between users. All transactions are conducted directly between buyers and sellers.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use WishThrift. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. Seller Responsibilities

• You must accurately describe items — condition, photos, and price must be truthful.
• You must own the item or have the right to sell it.
• You must respond to genuine buyer enquiries in a timely manner.
• You must mark items as sold once a sale is completed.
• You are solely responsible for agreeing on price and completing the transaction.

4. Buyer Responsibilities

• You are responsible for verifying the item before purchase.
• You should arrange payment and collection directly with the seller.
• You must not send advance payments to sellers you have not verified.

5. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited on WishThrift:

• Weapons, firearms, or ammunition
• Illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia
• Counterfeit or pirated goods
• Adult content or services
• Live animals
• Stolen goods
• Any item illegal in the seller’s or buyer’s jurisdiction

6. Platform Rules

• One account per person. Do not create fake or duplicate accounts.
• Do not spam other users with unsolicited messages.
• Do not post misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive listings.
• Treat all users with respect. Harassment will result in immediate account termination.

7. WishThrift’s Role & Liability

WishThrift is a platform only. We do not inspect items, verify sellers, or guarantee transactions. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from transactions conducted through the platform. All disputes are between the buyer and seller directly.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or poses a risk to other users.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of WishThrift after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
