Second-hand gaming in Cincinnati typically sells for $7 to $1,200. Generation and completeness set the price. A console with its original controller, cables and box is worth substantially more than the same console loose in a carrier bag.

Buying gaming in Cincinnati
Cincinnati sits on the Ohio River in a bowl of hills, with one of the largest collections of Italianate architecture in the country in a neighbourhood that has been extensively restored. It has several Fortune 500 headquarters and a long German-influenced brewing history.
Consoles and games are compact, high value for their size and easy to test, which makes them one of the safest things to buy face to face. The buyer wants to see it turn on and load something, and that takes a couple of minutes.
What to check in person
Play for a good while rather than a minute, because overheating and fan trouble only show once the machine is warm. Push both sticks through their full range to find drift, and try each trigger and shoulder button in turn.
Collecting it in Cincinnati
It fits in a bag, so most people meet on the way to something else. A station or a high street works, and neither side needs a car.
The city is built on steep hills above the river, so ask about steps and the approach rather than only which floor. The older neighbourhoods have narrow streets and limited parking.

The nineteenth-century housing stock brings genuinely old furniture onto the market, and corporate headquarters move staff on relocation cycles. Freeze-thaw is hard on anything stored in an unheated basement.
Reset the console and remove your account before the buyer arrives, because a machine still signed in is the commonest reason a local sale falls apart on the doorstep. Say exactly which cables and controllers are included. Peaks sharply before Christmas and again when a new console generation is announced.
Peer-to-peer payment apps dominate private sales, and buyers will usually offer one before they offer cash. Sales tax does not apply to a private sale between individuals.
