Are used printers worth selling?

Consumer inkjets rarely are — they are sold cheaply because the profit is in ink, and unused ones clog. Laser and large-format printers hold value much better.

Why do inkjet printers stop working after storage?

The print head dries and clogs. It is the standard fault on a stored inkjet and often cannot be cleared, so test before listing and say what you find.
