Try it under load rather than looking at it. Stand on the treadmill while it runs, sit on the bike and turn the resistance up, and listen for the belt or the flywheel. Check the frame welds and the adjustment pins for play.
Collecting it in Dubai
It needs a car boot rather than a bag, so agree somewhere you can actually stop for a few minutes. That is easier away from the centre than in it.
The city is built around the main highway spine and almost everything is collected by car, so which side of the city someone is on matters. Most residential towers and compounds require the buyer to be registered at the gate, so agree access before anyone sets off.
